ABookTrader.com
A couple weeks ago Tabz blogged about ABookTrader.com. At the time I bookmarked the site to check out later, and finally got around to it last week. ABookTrader.com is a website for rare, used and out-of-print books based out of Florida. There are many used book sites available on the web, but ABookTrader.com stands out because they offer free shipping on orders over $25.
Most of the books I ordered last week were less than $2.00. I honestly didn't need any books (when do I ever?) but I wanted to try out the site, so I did a search for some authors I'm trying to glom (Christie Ridgway, Karen Templeton, Sarah Mayberry). There were a couple authors I didn't have much luck with, but overall I did pretty well. I ended up ordering 23 books, most of which were older category romances, for just a little over $33.

I ordered these on February 21st and they arrived today, February 26. 5 days is all it took. Pretty awesome, right?
Because I was mostly just ordering to order (strictly for research on this blog if my husband asks) I didn't search for a ton of books. Mostly I just looked up a few of my favorite authors to see if the site had any of the books I didn't own yet. So I can't say if you'll be able to find every book you want, but I do think there's a good possibility you'll be able to find $25 worth so you can get free shipping.
I'd thank Tabitha, but I haven't decided yet if this is a good thing. We'll have to see how long I can keep my husband from figuring out I'm ordering books from there in this quantity.

Whoa, this is so weird! I live in Winter Haven and I just got back from stopping at this store you are talking about. I actually am annoyed with the book store because they cater more to the online shopper than the one that comes into their store. For example they don't have any of the trade size paperbacks in stock. They sell them on the internet to make their money. But if you are looking for an out of print book, they do have a large selection. My problem is I am more interested in new releases right now. But it is great that people from around the country are helping to keep this little store open. So thank you for shopping there!
Holly, you did really good on your research! Lol. I like the Mayberry, Templeton, and Monroe. I hope you have a great time researching the books, ha.
Fyi, if there is a book you really want and the online inventory doesn't show that it's in stock, you can email the store @ info@abooktrader.com because there are books not listed online.
Something else to bookmark for my buying locations, thanks so much for the heads-up and am passing on the info....
